“Proud to Be Me” – Week 1
In an effort to improve my eating habits and take a step towards overall better health, I decided to participate in Dr. Rosenberg’s 21-day healthy eating program. For three weeks straight, I would take part in a form of mental training, designed to use the power of the mind to control food desires, cravings, and unhealthy behaviors. By listening to Dr. Rosenberg’s audio recording each night as I fell asleep, my subconscious would be trained to have power over my eating habits. So far, I have completed one week of the “Proud to Be Me” program. While it took a day or so to get accustomed to, I must report that I have seen results. Although only a third of the way through, I’ve noticed a decrease in the amount of mindless eating that occurs on a normal day. One of my worst habits is that I am constantly snacking, whether I’m hungry or not. My hope was that the program would allow me to suppress the need to snack, and as of now, that’s exactly what it has done. I look forward to seeing even greater results as the days progress, so stay tuned for a post from Week 2!
